Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: December 2025

By requesting or accepting services from Keep Calm Plumbing LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Estimates and Pricing

  • Non-Binding Estimates: All estimates provided over the phone or via email are preliminary. Final pricing will be determined once we arrive on-site and assess the actual condition of the plumbing system.
  • Additional Work: If we discover unforeseen issues once work has begun (e.g., rusted pipes, code violations, or hidden leaks), we will provide an updated estimate before proceeding.

2. Payments and Fees

  • Payment Due: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service.
  • Accepted Methods: We accept cash, personal checks, Venmo, and Cash App.
  • Late Fees: Any unpaid balances after 30 days may be subject to a late fee or collection costs.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access: The customer must provide clear access to the work area. We are not responsible for moving personal items, furniture, or debris to reach the plumbing fixtures.
  • Water Shut-Off: You must provide access to the main water shut-off valve for your property.

4. Limited Warranty and Liability

  • Workmanship: We warrant our labor for 30 days from the date of service. This warranty does not cover issues caused by normal wear and tear, customer negligence, or "acts of God."
  • Parts: Warranties on parts (such as water heaters or faucets) are provided solely by the manufacturer.
  • Pre-existing Conditions: We are not liable for the failure of aged or deteriorated plumbing components that occur during the normal course of repair (e.g., a brittle pipe breaking while being uncoupled).
  • Restoration: Our service includes plumbing repair only. We are not responsible for drywall repair, painting, or flooring restoration after a pipe has been accessed or repaired.

5. Cancellations

We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. We reserve the right to charge a dispatch or "trip fee" for appointments cancelled with no notice or where we are unable to gain access to the property at the scheduled time.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Florence County.
